Some viewers have criticized the chemistry between the members of the 1 Night 2 Days Season 2 cast. They don’t feel the camaraderie or cohesion that was there with the 1st group is here with this group. However, I think that it takes some time for the group to get used to each other especially since it’s quite a big group and it has to happen naturally. This last trip proved that the group is well on their way to becoming a family.
Uhm Tae Woong seemed comfortable enough to start joking around again with his corny jokes this week and Seung Woo proves he’d do anything for a mere spoonful of food.
Yesterday, they aired the 2nd part of the “Find the 114 Dolphin” trip and after Sung Shi Kyung had visually spotted them from the helicopter, the boys returned to the base camp to play several rounds of Bok Bul Bok. First, they had to compete to get a spoonful of food and then compete to sleep inside the tent as opposed to outside. For the sleeping Bok Bul Bok, the boys were split into 2 teams. Since there are 7 members, there was a 4:3 split. Jong Min, Tae Hyun and Shi Kyung on one team and Joo Won, Tae Woong, Seung Woo and Su Geun on the other.
It was the first time in this 2nd season that got me rolling on the floor with so much laughter that it hurt.
Particularly the suck and blow game. The game is simple enough and we all remember it from the movie Clueless. Usually you’re supposed to take a card since it’s hard to pick it up and pass it down the line of people, all with your mouth. Here, they used origami paper which is thinner and bends. Some were proficient at it.
Others, not so much.
You suck in order to pick it up or take it from another person and then you blow in order to pass it to the next person. The last person drops it off in the basket at the end. Time limit: 1 minute.
Of course, there are many dangers. Sometimes saliva can be left behind as the paper is exchanged, as Sung Shi Kyung discovers. And if you don’t have the timing down with the… *ahem* sucking and blowing, you could inadvertently end up losing the paper and kissing the person next to you.
It’s worth checking out to see what the hubbub is all about.
