Three Times the Fun: Musing of Chunkeemonkeato’s 3rd Anniversary

Wow, it’s kind of crazy how quickly this anniversary crept up on me. I always feel like I’m not blogging enough but at the same time I want to watch so many more shows.

3 years ago, there was a lot of uncertainty when it came to this blog. Would I be able to keep it up? Who would read it? Through it all, it’s been a lot of fun to see other fans out there that obsess over K-Pop, K-Drama and other great TV shows and I enjoy reading your comments and tweets. If there is anything you’d like to see on the blog, such as a show I should watch or a song/group I should feature, I’d love to hear from you. Oooh if only I could be like Elementary’s Sherlock and watch 10 TVs at once. Can you imagine the time I could save?

Every year, I do like to take a look back and see new features that have been added. One of the latest features is that my sister, OinkNew, and I have been providing a recap for the OnStyle reality show, Jessica & Krystal. Since SNSD’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal are both sisters who grew up in America, we thought it might be interesting to give a sister/sister take on the show and if their experiences mirror our own. If you haven’t already done so, please check it out.

Another interesting development is that I am peeking out from behind my laptop to make an appearance at KCON this year.  It’s an annual convention held in LA for all fans of K-Drama and K-Pop.  Let me know if you’re making your way to KCON this year.  If not, I promise to blog all about it.

Here’s to another year of obsessing over moving dramas, getting psyched about addictive beats and ogling over hot stars.

  1. Congrats! 3 years, huh? It’s definitely a pretty amazing accomplishment and I’m glad you’re still going strong 🙂

Oh how I wish I could also attend KCON. It seems like it’s going to be awesome, judging by the fact that several of my favourite K-pop artists are making their appearances like CN Blue, BTS, SPICA, GD, Jung Joon Young, IU…okay, I’m a fan of pretty much all of them. Also, Lee Seung Gi! I’ve also heard that a lot of drama bloggers are planning to attend this year. Unfortunately, I live on the wrong side of the world, so I’ll be crying bitter fangirl tears at home. But oh well, I’ll just wait everyone to post their impressions on it afterwards.
