Late Spring TV Report (2016)

THINK I DO REMEMBER HOW TO DO ONE OF THESE POSTS

It’s been so long since I last did one of these that I don’t know if I remember how to do one.  I don’t think I did one once last year but I’m going to try to better about getting these out.  It’s nice to be able to talk about shows that are currently running.  There are times when I start off loving a show only to be disappointed at the end.  Also, there are those American shows that I don’t have the time to do full reviews or shows that I’ve given up midway that it’s a nice way to recap some thoughts on those shows.

End of the Year TV Report (2015): Part 3

This last one is gonna be a tough one as I did not do a good job in keeping up with all of my usual American/British shows. In the last few weeks of the 2015 and until now, I’ve been trying to bingewatch on as much as I could, one series at a time. I got through some but not all so I guess my New Years’ resolution is to catch up as there are new series starting up soon!

The ratings, courtesy of Adele lyrics, are as follows:

Must Watch – “Sweetest Devotion” – The sweetest devotion hit me like an explosion
Watch – “Hello” – Hello from the other side…
Just OK – “All I Ask” – All I ask is if this is my last night with you, hold me like I’m more than just a friend
If you’re bored – “Can’t Let Go” – When did it go wrong, I will never know
Pass – “Remedy” – When the world seems so cruel and your heart makes you feel like a fool

Just Bananas About: Week of 5/16/14

It’s Upfront season in the US. Upfront is a term used in the media industry so that all the television networks can showcase their fall lineup so that advertisers can start buying their media space “up front”. For the rest of us, we usually find out what shows have been canceled (there were many), what shows we’re expecting back next season and what new shows have been picked up for the fall.

There are a lot of new shows and it’s a safe bet to make that not nearly half of them will make it. Upon reading the synopsis and watching the trailers, there were a number of shows that might interest me enough to put on my Tivo Season Pass. I’ve provided videos for my picks but click on each network to look at all the trailers for the new shows and provide comments below on shows that you might be interested in tuning in for.

Just Bananas About: Week of 5/2/14

The much hyped about episode in which Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington) returns to Grey’s Anatomy aired last night.  I have to say that while I agreed with the decisions that led to him leaving the show 7 years ago, we never really got the closure that we wanted until last night.
