Jive Monkey Playlist: 2/10/17

Zion.T has finally released his first album since joining YG Entertainment as part of The Black Label.  At first glance or listen rather, the album is quite excellent with a mix of classic music genres (such as bossa nova) with Zion.T’s uniquely charming and poetic flavor.  I think what I was really taken by in regards to this album is Zion.T’s personal voice about life, love and his own career.  It’s that kind of intrinsic honesty that makes him so relatable to a lot of listeners.

Just Bananas About: Week of 5/16/16

When I first heard the news that Ahn Jae Hyun would be on New Journey to the West 2 to fill in for Lee Seung Gi who is in the army, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it.  However, the episode that aired this past week had me laughing so hard that I couldn’t breathe that it’s totally worth sharing.  (Also, later the new season of Show Me the Money.)

When I first heard about the Dynamic Duo concert, I was really excited.  Because not only was it going to be Choiza and Gaeko but it was going to include some of the other Amoeba Culture crew.  It was a really fun night and if I had the chance, I would go see them again.
