End of the Year TV Report (2015): Part 3

This last one is gonna be a tough one as I did not do a good job in keeping up with all of my usual American/British shows. In the last few weeks of the 2015 and until now, I’ve been trying to bingewatch on as much as I could, one series at a time. I got through some but not all so I guess my New Years’ resolution is to catch up as there are new series starting up soon!

The ratings, courtesy of Adele lyrics, are as follows:

Must Watch – “Sweetest Devotion” – The sweetest devotion hit me like an explosion
Watch – “Hello” – Hello from the other side…
Just OK – “All I Ask” – All I ask is if this is my last night with you, hold me like I’m more than just a friend
If you’re bored – “Can’t Let Go” – When did it go wrong, I will never know
Pass – “Remedy” – When the world seems so cruel and your heart makes you feel like a fool

Fiiinally…  Apologies for the extreme delays on this last one. I was playing catch-up with a number of the American/British shows has caused a delay with this report.  Yes, I was that far behind.

THE SEASONS, THEY KEEP A CHANGIN’

Now for Part 2, covering what I didn’t get a chance to cover in Part 1.  Mainly the new American and British shows with a sprinkling of the Korean ones.  Didn’t quite get to all the reviews I wanted to get to but at least I’ll cover most of them here.

Late Spring TV Report (2013)

SO MANY TV SHOWS, SO LITTLE TIME

It hasn’t been too long since my last TV rundown but there are so many new shows that it was about time.  Just a note about my American shows: I’m a bit behind on quite a few shows.  I noted them where possible but there are some shows where I’m even a month behind.  It’s been a busy, busy spring.  However, I’m more likely to sacrifice sleep for an addicting show rather than stay up for a mediocre one.

End of the Year TV Report (2012): Part 3

Merry Christmas everyone!  And finally here’s the American and British TV show edition.

I know I keep repeating the rating system but at least I follow it up with a brand-new explanation of them:

Must Watch – C’est si bon.
Watch – Oui oui.
Just OK – Comme ci, comme ça.
If you’re bored – You people make my ass twitch.
Pass – J’accuse! (points finger)

First Impressions – Elementary: Pilot & While You Were Sleeping

NOT QUITE SO ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR WATSON

Here’s another modern take on Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.  Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) is a recovering addict and a former consultant to Scotland Yard who comes to New York to check into a rehabilitation center.  His father hires him a sober companion, Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), to look after him when he gets out.  He takes on assisting NYPD’s Captain Tobias Gregson (Aidan Quinn) in solving various crimes taking place in New York City after his stint in rehab.
