After deciding to give Fantastic Duo a try this weekend, I wasn’t prepared for my reaction to it. Particularly one contestant who goes by the stagename, Fish Cake Girl (aka Kim Da Mi). As I missed out on watching the pilot back in February, I missed out on this girl’s fantastic duet with Kim Bum Soo. And what’s even more, she’s hilarious in front of the camera. Think I got a girl crush. Heh heh.
This week, it seemed to be about all the guy celebrities who “쩔어 (Zutter)”. They’re funny, they’re cute, they’re talented, and that’s why we love them.
I wasn’t going to do another Big Bang music post because I featured them last month. However, watching them on Running Man last night made me rethink things because their appearance on the show just reminded me why they can still get me excited. If “M” was emo and a bit… weird, “A” is the party single perfect for the upcoming summer. I have to admit like the energy and vibe of this album a lot more than I did with first.
Big Bang is back! After being busy with their own projects for almost 3 years now, they’ve reunited with a group release.
It’s been a really great K-variety weekend with 2 highly anticipated shows, Running Man featuring guests Big Bang and Season 2 of 1 Night 2 Days. Here’s a short recap of both shows which are also rating competitors. I’ll go with Running Man first as I don’t have to do a whole introduction.
It’s obvious I’m obsessed. I’ve posted both the music videos for “Blue” and “Bad Boy” and I’m back for some more.
In this digital age, having the convenience of carrying a million songs in your pocket makes you less likely to listen to an album from beginning to end. There’s a whole story, arc and emotions that are lost in an album release because we’re not paying attention to why a certain track was placed in the beginning as opposed to the end. Big Bang is one of those artists that I love and can easily listen to their entire album. I even love their Intros tracks. They’re THAT good. Kim Gun Mo and Park Jin Young are 2 artists I frequently go back to, although they’ve been on the music scene twice as much longer than Big Bang.
Oh TOP. Siigh. Kinda wish you were more like your IRIS counterpart but at least you make me laugh. I love it when you imitate YG President, Yang Hyun Suk, and when you tell us stories about maknae, Seungri. Or even better, when Seungri tells us stories about YOU. What are you up to when you’re not with the boys? (start at 3:27) Because I totally pictured you with various ladies on your arm and an open bottle of Cristal.

Ha! I just noticed today’s date. Happy Pepero Day! I know I’ve been terrible with keeping up with new posts this week. I have a ton of reviews to do and I just haven’t been able to get around to them because I’ve been feeling under the weather and work is insane.
Now, back to the task at hand. I am soooo happy to hear that Big Bang won at the EMAs in Belfast earlier this week. Woop woop! And I’m even happier to see Daesung again. Sure, he’s had a rough couple of months but I wish the best for him and his future.
